On October 7th, 2008, EPISTAR Corporation filed a suit against HUGA Optotech

Inc. for the patent infringement of Taiwan Patent No. 148677 and No. 126769

of EPISTAR Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Lawsuit”) in the

Intellectual Property Court of R.O.C.  After a negotiation between the

parties, EPISTAR Corporation and HUGA Optotech Inc. have reached a compromise

of Lawsuit in the foresaid court on Nov. 24th, 2010.
